Never sleep more than 12 hours again.
Let me explain. I always knew that if I slept more than about 14 hours (which I've done on several occasions before) that I'd get a massive pounding headache. However, I thought that if I slept for 12 hours, I'd be fine. Right? Right? No.
I've been studying and doing midterms all this week because of the fact that the wildfires in San Diego caused classes to be canceled for a week. Though I did get to relax back at home (and see a bunch of my teachers back at my high school), I didn't get any studying or homework done, so I was screwed for this week. Japanese was okay, since I already knew everything for our midterm for that class, so it wasn't that big of a deal. World Music: Asia and Oceania was a bit tougher, but manageable. My two biggest tests were yesterday, on Math 20C [multivariable calculus] and MMW1. I was stressing over those two the entire week. Incidentally, when I actually took the tests...they weren't that bad. I'm very sure I passed all of my midterms, but still...
The weight of the exams took a toll on my mental abilities as well as my physical well-being, so I decided to go to sleep early and wake up late. Well, it sounded like a good idea at the time....
So yea, from now on the most I'm sleeping is 10 hours, because I know that if I sleep that long I won't have this throbbing headache bothering me for the rest of the day >_<.
